The Optimist, similar to Rev Run Wisdom, is a website that posts daily inspirational stories and headlines of good news and helps to reveal the optimist in you at times when you may find it difficult to see the positive side of humankind. The positive news picks up on those inspirational stories of everyday, normal people deciding not to settle for the hand that they are dealt and spend their lives looking after only themselves, but those who actively seek to enrich the lives of others and make the most of the circumstances that they find themselves in.
The difference with The Optimist, is that it is not only available in English, but also in German, French, Italian and Spanish. If Rev Run Wisdom’s Twitter column was also in several languages, then even more people could be reached. Making websites wherever they originate from, available in several languages, is such an easy way to translate information to people from other countries and when a website such as The Optimist is using the idea, their message can be put across even stronger and to much more people.
